Work Study Program

The Work Study Program is designed for students who want to pursue a career in the field for which CCAT has trained them for. All students who wish to partake in the program will still be registered for the regular prime classes in the fall semester of their senior year. Students can either find their own job site, or if they want to participate in the program but don't have a location they can submit an application and the office will attempt to connect you with a location

Credits: Students can earn up to 3 credits for
school


Medical Insurance: Students must have or purchase
medical insurance (school insurance will qualify)


After-school Activities: Students involved must work
with employer in order to schedule around them


Transportation: Students must have secured
transportation in order to be accepted


Unemployment: Students who are terminated must
return to school and meet with Career Experience coordinator


Work Hours: Must work an average of 15 hours a week,
a majority of which should be during school hours


Grading: Employer will evaluate performance and
submit grade sheets quarterly based on your performance. Each
quarter, students are required to keep a weekly journal, which
will be your final exam grade.
