Guidance
The goal of the guidance office is to help each student strive to realize his/her potential as a student and as a person. Exercising
their training in counseling, consulting and coordination, counselors team with teachers, administrators, other staff members and parents to organize
and implement a program of guidance and counseling services for all students. Counselors work in small groups and with individual students to manage the
challenges and pressures of young adulthood.
Guidance Counselors coordinate student schedules and four-year high school plans based on students' magnet program, academic interest, abilities
and post high school plans.
