Visitation Schedule

As part of American Education Week, parents/guardians are invited to visit the school. All visitors will be hosted during periods 1 and 2 or from 7:45-10:00 a.m. A grade-level visitation schedule is in place to stagger the number of visitors and ensure as much on-campus parking as possible.

  • Grade 9—TBA—1st and 2nd Period
  • Grade 10—TBA—1st and 2nd Period
  • Grade 11 and 12—TBA—1st and 2nd Period

Pre-registration Requested

We ask all parents to pre-register by TBA This provides time for office staff to enter your name into our RAPTOR registration system and print your visitor’s sticker prior to your arrival, which allows for faster entry and access to classrooms. Parents who have not had their license scanned yet may come to school next week to do so. Unfortunately, any parent who visits without pre-registration must wait until all late students are admitted before the front office staff will be able to enter you in RAPTOR and print the required visitor’s tag. Entering The Building

All parents/guardians should report to the main entrance with their driver’s license to sign in and pick up their visitor’s sticker. Doors will open for parent entry at 7:30 a.m. Per our school rules, please do not bring outside food or drink for yourself or your child. Water is permitted and the Carver Foundation will provide some refreshments to parents/guardians.

Bags

Please remember your driver’s license and leave all belongings but a small purse or bag in your vehicles. For the safety of our students and staff, all bags are subject to search

Bring your child's schedule

Prior to your visit, please use your parent account in FOCUS to access your child’s schedule, or please ask your child for his/her/their schedule. While we can and will print schedules on demand, printing schedules will occur after all late students are signed in and will result in delayed entry to classrooms.

We are excited to celebrate public education and the wonders of our school with our visitors. We extend our thanks to the Carver Foundation for their support during our week-long celebration, and we look forward to highlighting the wonderful things happening at Carver Center on Twitter (@GWCCAT). Should you have any questions, please call the Carver office at 443-809-2775.
