If you like Jeopardy... then you will probably like Carver Center’s It’s Academic.

You don’t have to be a genius to join.

 

Our group practices to compete on the It’s Academic show on WJZ.  We meet to answer questions and use buzzers similar to the type used in the TV show. It's Academic meets every Tuesday from 2:30 to 3:30 pm, in the Media Center.

Interesting Facts about the It’s Academic show

The Guinness Book of World Records has recognized It's Academic as the world's longest-running TV quiz show. Started in 1961 on NBC4 in Washington D.C., the program continues as America's foremost high school quiz. …, It's Academic is endorsed by the National Association of School Boards.  It showcases the achievements of teenagers from local schools.
